SERIES 17 || GLASS HALF FULL

Using her art to express the importance of perspective, SERIES 17 is inspired by looking at things from different points of view. The collection utilizes conventional fabrics in unconventional ways – materials like tweed and denim are used in different weights and tones bringing forth new potential for these common textiles. With a love for maximalism and bright hues, the prints this season were inspired by the view she had of the plants in her garden from her bedroom window. In different shades of blues, greens, and reds, Cassey's signature brush strokes are seen in the patterns that are featured throughout the collection. Layers are a key component of each of Cassey's works and with an ability to put together contrasting fabrics in a multitude of irregular shapes harmoniously, the collection is a feast of colour, texture, and form. Glittered fabrics that add whimsical undertones to the garments represent the glimmer of light she had realized after looking at her life from a new perspective.
